The national association of REALTORS just posted the latest numbers about the real estate market. Closed sales are up 3.9% from a year ago and pending sales were also up 3.9% compared to last year at the same time. The market is still strong with the lowest interest rates in 7 years we just need more inventory to sell. Home price appreciation is 5.9% compared to a year ago – so values are still increasing. Overall it’s a great time to sell with low inventory and strong demand and it’s a great time to buy with low interest rates.
